<![CDATA[Nomads Juniors’ weekly Winter training is in full swing every Saturday from 5:00 to 6:30PM at Lamport Stadium through to March 26.

Girls and boys from Under 8s to Under 18s learn and hone their rugby skills under the guidance of Nomads’ qualified junior coaches. It is ideal preparation for the 2016 club and high school seasons

And for the first time, in 2016 Nomads is introducing Kinder-Rugby for under 6 girls and boys. Sarah Piercy, a rugby enthusiast and parent is the driving force. We will get the ball rolling with two “Introductory” sessions from 5:00 to 6:00PM on Feb 27 and March 5 at Lamport Stadium.

2016 also sees the addition of a Nomads Academy XV, a team comprising recent graduates from the Junior programme and under 18s. The Academy XV’s purpose is to retain and continue the development of graduating junior players and facilitate the transition from junior to senior rugby.

In April the Juniors will switch to Saturday morning training at De la Salle College and from mid -May commence practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Eglinton Flats.

New players of all ages and levels are welcome. If you have a son or daughter or know of girls or boys interested in trying rugby and/or joining Nomads Juniors please send an email to nomadsjuniors@gmail.com including:

  • Child’s name, date of birth, school and level/years of rugby experience
  • Parent or guardian’s name, email address and phone #
