<![CDATA[Day one recap:
Some ‪#‎RedNation‬ pride over here. Nomad Kelly Russell has been delivering some tremendous tackles on the pitch. Canada is in great standing at the end of Sao Paulo Sevens’ opening day. We’ve won two of three games with a 27-6 win against the Irish and a 29-14 victory over Fiji. The day was capped up with a 29-14 loss to Australia, but our girls played with heart.

Day two recap:
We send our warmest (and proudest!) congrats to Kelly Russell and her Canada Sevens teammates on their second-place finish at Sao Paulo! This marks the first time Canada’s ever defeated New Zealand. Canada’s first-ever win over the Black Ferns wasn’t a squeaker, either. The girls triumphed with a 19-10 win against the Kiwis. Also on day two of the competition, Canada refused to let France score and finished the game 19-0. Although Canada’s ultimately lost to Australia 29-0, the team is performing phenomenally and we’re just oh-so excited to see ‪#‎RedNation‬ take to the pitch for the up-coming Olympics.
