Nomads Juniors 2017 Try Rugby Fun Day takes place at Eglinton Flats NW (located off Emmett Ave.) on Saturday May 27 from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Girls and Boys ages 4 to 18, new and experienced players are all welcome. Come along and join the fun, activities for kids, food, giveaways and exhibition games. The excitement concludes with a Nomads Senior Women’s game that kicks off at 2:30 PM.

Nomads Junior Rugby provides youth rugby for girls and boys of all age-groups in Toronto central and west from January through October each year. We are committed to providing the best possible rugby development and playing experience for boys and girls. Follow the links below for more information by team:

Under 6 boys and girls  (Kindergarten/pre-school)
Under 8 boys and girls  (grades 1, 2)
Under 10 boys and girls  (grades 3, 4)
Under 12 boys and girls  (grades 5, 6)
Under-14 boys (grades 7, 8)
Under-16 boys (grades 9, 10)
Under-18 girls (grade 12 and below)
Under-18 boys (grades 11, 12)

Until under 12 competition is non-contact, flag rugby.

Under 12 plays a modified sevens game with contact.

Age groups under 14s and older play 15-a-side rugby in the Summer and Sevens in the Fall.

Nomads Rugby Juniors provides a comprehensive programme of development, games and competition for boys and girls of all ages and levels of players from minis to competitive and rep players. Our programmes include:

  • Winter  training at Lamport Stadium – every Saturday from January to April 1.
  • Spring  training at De la Salle College – every Saturday from April 8, 2017 until May 13, 2017
  • Rugby Alliance Junior Rugby Clinic – April 30, 2017
  • In season training at Eglinton Flats – mid May to September
  • Interclub 15s competition  – late May to August
  • Interclub 7 competition [u14, u16 and u18]  – September – October
  • Summer Camps
  • End of Season banquet
  • Overseas tours

Nomads Juniors utilizes TeamSnap to facilitate communication with parents and players. Following receipt of your registration of interest information you will receive an email invitation to join the appropriate age group or team’s TeamSnap site. Accept the invitation and you will have access to the teams’ schedule, roster, contacts details etc. There  is no obligation at this stage.

All new players and their parents are invited to come out and try Rugby with Nomads to see if there is  a fit between what Nomads offers and what you are looking for. The first 2 sessions are on us; there is no financial obligation and we won’t ask for payment until the third session.
