Nomads Junior Rugby provides youth rugby for girls and boys of all age-groups in Toronto central and west from January through October each year. We are committed to providing the best possible rugby development and playing experience for boys and girls. Follow the links below for more information by team:

Under-7 boys and girls (Kindergarten, grade 1)
Under-9 boys and girls (grades 2,3)
Under-11 boys and girls (grades 4,5)
Under-13 boys and girls (grades 6,7)
Under-15 boys (grades 8,9)
Under-17 boys (grades 10,11)
Under-17 girls (grades 10,11)
Under-19 girls (grade 12 +)
Under-19 boys (grades 12 +)

Under-7 and Under-9 is non-contact, Rookie Rugby (i.e. flag rugby).

Under-11 is transition to contact.

Under 13 play a modified sevens game with contact.

Under-15 and older play 15-a-side rugby in the Summer and Sevens in the Fall.

Nomads Junior Rugby provides a comprehensive programme of development, games and competition for boys and girls of all ages and levels of players from minis to competitive and rep players. Our programmes include:

  • WINTER Training at Lamport Stadium (indoors)
    • ALL ages – every Saturday from 5:00 PM to 6:25 PM commencing January 5 through to March 16, 2019 except for
      • January 26
      • February 9
  • SPRING Training at De la Salle College (outdoors)
    • Under-15 (MRA) – every Friday from 6:00Pm to 8:00 PM commencing March 22 through to June 21, 2019 except for:
      • April 5 and 12 (instead will be held on Thursday, April 4 and 11)
      • April 19 (Good Friday)
      • April 26 (instead will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 10:00Am to 12PM)
      • May 17 (Victoria Day)
    • Under-13 (MRA) – every Saturday from 4:00PM to 6:00PM commencing March 23 through to June 8, 2019 except for:
      • April 27 (instead will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM)
      • May 11 (instead will be holding TRY RUGBY FUN DAY at Lamport Stadium)
    • Minis (Under-7/Under-9/Under-11), Junior Girls (Under-15/Under-17), Junior Boys (Under-17/Under-19) – every Saturday from 2:00PM to 4:00PM commencing March 23 through to May 4, 2019  except for:
      • April 27 (instead will be held on Sunday, April 28 from 3:00PM to 5:00PM)
      • May 11 (instead will be holding TRY RUGBY FUN DAY at Lamport Stadium)
  • TRY RUGBY FUN DAY  on Saturday May 11, 2019 at Lamport Stadium
  • SUMMER Training
    • Minis (Under-7/Under 9/Under-11), Junior Girls and Boys (Under-15/Under-13) – at Eglinton Flats (outdoors) every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM commencing May 13 through to mid-September 2019
    • Junior Girls and Boys (Under-19/Under-17) – at Oakwood Collegiate (outdoors) every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM from mid May through to the end of October 2019
  • Interclub 15s competition – late May to August
  • FALL Training 
    • Under-15/Under-17/Under-19 – Interclub 7 competition from September to October 2019
  • End of Season Awards Banquet

New Players Welcome

Beginners and experience players are all welcome.

Nomads Juniors utilizes TeamSnap to facilitate communication with parents and players. Following receipt of your registration of interest information you will receive an email invitation to join the appropriate age group or team’s TeamSnap site. Accept the invitation and you will have access to the teams’ schedule, roster, contacts details etc. There  is no obligation at this stage.

All new players and their parents are invited to come out and try Rugby with Nomads to see if there is  a fit between what Nomads offers and what you are looking for. The first 2 sessions are on us; there is no financial obligation and we won’t ask for payment until the third session.
