Welcome to the Nomads Under-13s web page. Thank you for your interest in the team.

New Players are welcome at any time during the year.

Nomads Juniors’ programme for Under-13 players is composed of:

Winter Rugby

  • Winter training held weekly on Saturday afternoons from 5:00 to 6:25PM at Lamport Arena from January 5 to March 16, 2019 inclusive.
  • Focus on fitness and skill development (contact, continuity in play, ball handling)

Pre-Season Rugby

  • Teaming up with 3 other Toronto clubs (together, the Metro Rugby Alliance), we’ll be hosting weekly pre-season skills, conditioning and fitness training on Saturday afternoons at De la Salle College from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM from March 23 through to June 8, 2019 inclusive
  • Bring: cleats, filled water bottle, weather appropriate clothing

Spring/Summer 15s Season

  • MRA Inter-Club games location: Saturdays at De La Salle College from 4:00 PM to approximately 6:00 PM from May 6 through to mid-June 2019, as well as such additional inter-club fixtures as can be scheduled, TBD.
  • MRA participation in Premiership & Festivals divisions: in addition to participating in the MRA Inter-Club games, above, registration will be available to those players interested in competing in Rugby Ontario Junior League who can commit to the entire season (which runs mid-May through to end of July 2019)
  • Nomads Practices Location: Eglinton Flats (3601 Eglinton Ave W – Jane & Eglinton), Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, beginning May through to September (TBC based on field availability)

Fall 7s

  • For players interested in extending their rugby season into the fall, a MRA Fall sevens program (training and games) will once again be offered, running from September into November. Details TBD, a nominal additional fee is payable.

Fees

  • The 2019-20 annual Membership fee is approx. $380 (includes winter training, pre-season spring training, , uniforms, equipment, Rugby Canada Insurance, athletic therapist & referee fees, end of season banquet, etc.). A small additional administration / processing fee is charged during Rugby Canada’s online registration process.
  • An additional fee is payable for MRA programs and Fall 7s.
  • Reduced registration costs for players from Toronto Inner City Rugby Foundation’s qualifying schools is available
