We are always looking for players! It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is, we’d love for you to come out to a rugby training session. Don’t worry about your fitness or experience levels, we’ll help you learn the game and build on your existing skills.

Pre-season indoor training starts typically starts in February and the season officially starts in May and finishes in August. The two teams play home and away together in back-to-back games, usually with 12:00pm and 1:30pm kick-offs.

No experience is necessary to play senior women’s rugby: we will teach you all you need to know. With many experienced players and expert coaches, we will get you onto the rugby field in no time!

The Toronto Nomads Senior Women’s program caters to all types:

* Competitive players looking to play at the highest level: the Nomads have several players on Canada rosters as well as provincial representative players at all age-grade levels.

* Players who want to learn and improve: the Nomad women have been running development sides and junior teams for many years and have produced a lot of great players during that time.

* Players who want to stay active: fitness is the number one skill in rugby and joining the Nomads will ensure you remain as active as you want to be!

* Players who want play rugby socially: the biggest reason any of us do this is for enjoyment. Having a good time all the time is the priority for all the Nomad teams. From training, to games, to the parties and especially on tour, the Nomad women are all about fun!
